PROPOSED BUDGET 2027

The Board of Fire Commissioners met and approved a proposed budget for the 2027 fiscal year.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the proposed budget, in accordance with New York State Town Law 181(c), is available for public inspection and copying, and is attached. The same proposed budget is filed with the Town Clerk of the Town of Greenburgh.

 LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the 2027 Proposed Budget of the Hartsdale Fire District of the Town of Greenburgh, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Hartsdale Fire District, for its consideration.

            A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 8:00 p.m. at Hartsdale Fire District Station No. 2, 300 West Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale, New York, 10530, in the Town of Greenburgh, State of New York on the 20th day of October, 2026.

            Pursuant to Town Law Section 105, the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, and allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing.  This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.

            The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same.

            That a copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Greenburgh, 177 Hillside Avenue, Greenburgh, New York, 10607 and Fire District Secretary, Hartsdale Fire District, Fire Station No. 2, 300 West Hartsdale Avenue, Hartsdale, New York where it may be inspected by any interested person during the office hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The proposed budget is also available on the Hartsdale Fire District website www.hartsdalefire.gov.
