Chief Raymond Maseda (2020 - Present)
Chief Ray Maseda serves as the Fire Chief for the Hartsdale Fire District, bringing over two decades of experience in the fire service to his role.
Chief Maseda began his fire service career in 1995 and joined the Hartsdale Fire District in 1998. Over the course of his career, he has progressed through the ranks, serving as a Firefighter, Captain, and Deputy Chief before being appointed Chief of Department.
As Fire Chief, he oversees all aspects of department operations, including emergency response, personnel management, training, and daily administrative functions. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to operational readiness, firefighter safety, and professional service to the community.
Chief Maseda holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA), further supporting his role in managing the complex responsibilities of a modern fire district.
In addition to his operational responsibilities, Chief Maseda plays an active role in department ceremonies, community events, and public outreach efforts throughout the Hartsdale community and the Town of Greenburgh.
